What is Compounded Semaglutide?

Compounded Semaglutide is a patient-specific medication created in a state Board of Pharmacy or FDA licensed compounding facility per a prescription from a licensed healthcare professional. Compounded drugs are required to exclusively use ingredients from FDA-licensed facilities, and test sterile compounds for potency, sterility, and purity.

While compounded drugs are legal they do not undergo pre-market approval from the FDA as they are not made in large batches for the public, compounds are made based on specific orders from a medical professional. Because of that the dose, route of administration, and efficacy may differ from commercially available, brand-name, drugs.
Ready Med Meds exclusively works with licensed sterile compounding pharmacies in the United States.

How does Ready Med work?

Ready Med is designed to be more than a telehealth platform, but still simple for our clients. You can start treatment in three easy-steps. 1) Complete a medical intake and (if necessary) have lab work done to verify a medical need for treatment. 2) Speak to your new healthcare provider through a telehealth (audio-visual) appointment. 3) If medically appropriate, receive your medication in the mail every 30-days, or 60-days, or 90-days from a mail order pharmacy provider (depending on your provider’s decision). We want to enable you to form a long-term connection with Ready Med so that we can provide ongoing care for your specific condition. With that in mind, Ready Med is designed for patients seeking long-term care.

How much does Ready Med Cost?

It’s only $297 per month. That includes everything you need, from your online appointment to your medication. There are no hidden-fees or long-term contracts. If you want to have your order filled at a local pharmacy instead of via Ready Med platform, please note that the local pharmacy may charge you a fee for your medication which Ready Med is unable to assist with. Most clients save over $1,000 per month by filling their order via Ready Med.

What if I need a higher dose?

Tirzepatide We offer up to 12.5mg/week(as medically appropriate) for an additional $100 per month. In this case, you will receive your order every 60-days like normal, but receive an additional vial of medication in your scheduled delivery. Speak to your provider for more information. Liraglutide We offer up to 3mg/day(as medically appropriate) for an additional $100 per month. In this case, you will receive your order every 90-days like normal, but receive an additional vial of medication in your scheduled delivery. Speak to your provider for more information. Semaglutide We offer up to 2mg/week (as medically appropriate) for an additional $100 per month. In this case, you will receive your order every 90-days like normal, but receive an additional vial of medication in your scheduled delivery. Speak to your provider for more information.

How often will I receive a shipment?

Your $297/month membership cost includes a shipment every 60-days or 90-days depending on the product and shipping source, if medically approved. If you would like to receive monthly shipments, we offer alternative programs for an additional $100 per month. Most members choose to utilize our 90-day option for the convenience and cost savings.

What if I need to cancel?

Is this real medication?

Yes, all medications are made in a State Board of Pharmacy licensed sterile compounding pharmacies, or FDA-licensed 503(b) Outsourcing Facilities. We work with pharmacies licensed in all 50-states using only the highest quality ingredients. Medically approved clients are typically offered prescription (Liraglutide / Cyanocobalamin) or (Semaglutide / Cyanocobalamin) Injections. These are slowly absorbed by the body over a day or week to help reduce appetite and cravings. The medication you may be prescribed is a compounded medication and is not associated with the Novo Nordisk™ company or the brand-name medications Saxenda®, Victoza®, Wegovy® or Ozempic®.

How does this compare to brand name drugs?

The FDA-approved brand name drugs, such as Saxenda®, Victoza®, Wegovy®, and Ozempic® are exclusively available from the Novo Nordisk™ company. Mounjaro® and Zepbound™ are exclusively available from Eli Lilly and Company™. Ready Med Meds™ does not claim any affiliation with, or endorsement from, the above mentioned products or entities. We do not offer any of the above mentioned products, anyone seeking said products should discuss options with their licensed healthcare provider or pharmacist. Ready Med Meds exclusively offers compounded medications, which are made in State Board of Pharmacy licensed sterile compounding pharmacies, or FDA-licensed 503(b) Outsourcing Facilities. While these facilities are strictly regulated, the compounded medications they make are not FDA-approved, as they are compounded based on an individual provider’s prescription for a specified patient. Strength, dose, route of administration, and other variables may make compounded medications different from FDA-approved drugs which makes directly comparing results & risk profile between FDA-approved drugs and compounded drugs difficult. Any compounded drugs prescribed are based on a licensed provider’s medical judgement based on a telehealth encounter and medical history.

How much weight will I lose?

Actual weight lost is dependent on a number of factors but many Ready Med Meds clients lose around 5% of their initial body weight. Over 12 weeks, it can be as high as 10%. This equates to a weight loss of 10–20 pounds for a 200 pound person. Everyone is different though and the most successful patients also work hard to make diet and lifestyle changes. Healthy weight loss is often defined as 1-2lbs per week. Extreme weight loss is not a medically desired effect.

How soon will I receive my medication?

After your provider has prescribed a GLP-1 Medication, or another weight loss option, we send your prescription to a licensed compounding pharmacy. It typically takes 3-4 business days for the pharmacy to process the order which is then shipped via 2-Day shipping. Overall, most clients receive their medication within 8-10 business days from when they speak to their provider. Please note, clients in California may experienced increased fulfillment time due to additional compound testing requirements.

How do I inject my medication?

What is the age range for treatment?

Patients seeking treatment for GLP-1 programs need to be at least 18 years of age and no older than 75.
