Over 10 years ago I took an anatomy class and fall in love with medicine. i graduated top of my class in nursing school and I worked in several diffrent specialties including PCU, ICU, cardiac, and neuro. After gaining confidence in my ability as a RN and practicing as a team leader I went back to school to obtain my Master in Nursing. After becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner, I had the pleasure of treating patients in many different settings including hospitals, urgent care, primary care, and nursing homes. During this time, I also discovered my passion for teaching. I worked as professor for South University for 7 years, during that time I taught bachelor as well as master nursing student. My passion is patient centerd and evidenced based medicine. I belived that both the provider and the patient have a say in one’s care.
